The House of Representatives has just voted 229-202 to HOLD former Trump strategist Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress after he refused to comply with their order to appear before the Jan. 6 select committee.
According to Axios, The Justice Department is now going to decide if Bannon will be criminally charged.
A total of 9 Republicans voted to hold Bannon in contempt. The 9 Republicans are: Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) along with others such as Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), Peter Meijer (R-Mich.), Anthony Gonzalez (R-Oh.), Fred Upton (R-Mich.), John Katko (R-N.Y.), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) and Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Wash.)
The committee has also issued subpoenas for former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and almost a dozen other rally organizers.
This raises a lot of questions about whether Bannon will flip on Trump.
