As you may already know, Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer is planning on retiring soon and rumors are swirling about who President Biden will select as his replacement.
President Biden in the past mentioned how he had hopes to appoint an African American female Justice to the Supreme Court. However, he has not elaborated on that any further.
Now, a Fox News panel recently caused controversy after they suggested that President Biden could place his very own Vice President, Kamala Harris, on the Supreme Court and other mainstream media sources quickly lashed out at the idea and said it was unlikely.
According to Yahoo, anchor Harris Faulkner stated, “Race is at the heart of just about everything we see from the left right now. It is so much in the nomenclature of politics that are most divisive in America right now, not bringing us together. Would this further divide?”
Faulkner then floated the idea that Biden could tap Kamala for the role.
“So this person has to be a woman, she has to be Black and she’s gotta be younger. Anybody thinking what I’m thinking? They don’t know what to do with Kamala Harris in the White House right now. And I can’t be the only person seeing this,” Faulkner theorized.
Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany agreed with the idea and said, “Politically speaking, if you are not happy with the vice president and you want her in a different role, there’s no greater role than the Supreme Court.”
While Biden continues to praise Kamala in front of the camera, it is very clear to Washington insiders that there is a serious conflict between the two. Is this how Biden gets Kamala out of the White House?
