Drain the swamp!
Newly elected Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy promised to the American people that he was going to remove a number of corrupt Democrats from their committees once the GOP gets control of the House and it looks like he’s fulfilling his promise!
According to Insider, McCarthy told reporters on Monday that he was going to throw Democrat Representatives Ilhan Omar, Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff off of their committee seats as soon as possible.
McCarthy also reminded the Democrats that they have been running a corrupt system that is unfair and very dishonest.
McCarthy also said, “Swalwell can’t get a security clearance in the private sector. I’m not going to give him a government security clearance. Schiff has lied to the American public…”
Democrat Eric Swalwell lashed out at McCarthy and said, “If I was an NFL coach, and I could take the best players off the field, you know, on the opposition, I guess I would try and do that too.”
McCarthy has been warning Swalwell, Omar and Schiff for a very long time about removing them from their positions of power. A few months ago McCarthy stated, “Think about this. Adam Schiff and Swalwell are no longer going to be on the Intel Committee. Omar’s no longer going to be on Foreign Affairs, based upon what they’ve done. Don’t you think they’ll walk to the floor to try to make havoc every single day with us?
He added, “Why would we turn the floor over to the Democrats? Why would we empower the Democrats to stop our agenda going forward?”
