Trump Makes CNN Cry

CNN’s Jake Tapper rushes to defend reporter after President Trump demands accountability.

President Donald Trump has once again sent shockwaves through the liberal media — and CNN is having a full-blown meltdown.

This time, it’s CNN anchor Jake Tapper coming to the rescue of reporter Natasha Bertrand, after President Trump called for her to be fired over a controversial story revealing leaked intelligence on U.S. military strikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Tapper, clearly rattled, accused Trump of “shooting the messengers” and claimed the administration was targeting journalists for simply doing their jobs. “They’re calling journalists ‘fake news’ for true stories,” Tapper insisted during his Wednesday night broadcast. He even called Trump’s call for Bertrand’s firing “preposterous.”

But here’s what CNN doesn’t want to admit: Bertrand’s report, which claims U.S. airstrikes only delayed Iran’s nuclear program by a few months, was based on classified leaks—potentially putting national security at risk during a time of escalating tensions in the Middle East.

President Trump didn’t mince words. In a Truth Social post, he blasted Bertrand by name and demanded CNN hold her accountable for reporting information that may embolden America’s adversaries. Trump allies quickly rallied behind him, slamming the mainstream media for once again placing politics above patriotism.

CNN responded with a predictable corporate statement defending Bertrand, insisting her reporting was “accurate” and “in the public interest.” But critics say the real public interest is holding leakers — and the journalists who spread their narratives — accountable.

This incident is part of a much bigger pattern. For years, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and NBC News have been caught pushing misleading narratives, often based on anonymous sources or unverifiable leaks — especially when it involves undermining President Trump.

As 2024 heats up and America watches President Trump take a firm stand on national security, media elites are scrambling to maintain their crumbling credibility. But if this latest meltdown proves anything, it’s that the Trump train is still rolling strong — and the mainstream media can’t handle it.
