Trump Gives Up?

This was a surprising reaction from Trump.

President Donald Trump has cast serious doubt on whether Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are ready to sit down face-to-face to end the war in Eastern Europe. In a candid interview with The Daily Caller, Trump hinted the bloody conflict may have to “play out a little longer” before peace becomes possible.

Trump Signals Patience in Ending Ukraine War

The president told White House correspondent Reagan Reese that while he is confident about a three-way meeting with himself, Putin, and Zelensky, he doubts the two Eastern European leaders will meet alone.

“A three-way meeting could definitely take place, but a one-on-one between them? I’m not so sure,” Trump explained. “At times, the parties just aren’t ready for that step.”

He compared the war to a playground fight: “You want them to stop, but they keep swinging. Eventually, they’re happy to stop. Sometimes they have to fight a little before they’re willing to quit.”

Trump: “No U.S. Boots on the Ground”

Trump reaffirmed his long-standing promise that American troops will not be sent to fight in Ukraine, but he did not rule out limited U.S. air support. “If I could stop thousands of young people from dying every week by flying a plane overhead once in a while, I’d do it. But this must be Europe’s lead fight.”

His remarks echo his America First foreign policy: no endless wars, no blank checks for Ukraine, but strong U.S. leadership to pressure adversaries and protect allies.

Russia Stalls, Ukraine Resists Concessions

The Kremlin continues to slow-walk peace talks. Putin’s team is demanding veto power over any security guarantees for Ukraine and even suggested China be part of the deal. Meanwhile, Kyiv refuses to surrender territory.

Despite the stalemate, Russia has escalated its attacks. Just last week, Moscow bombarded Kyiv with missiles and drones, killing 23 civilians and injuring dozens.

Trump Moves to Arm Ukraine While Pushing Peace

Hours after the strikes, the Trump administration approved a $825 million munitions package for Ukraine, including 3,350 extended-range attack missiles. The move shows Trump’s strategy: back Ukraine’s defense while still driving for a peace settlement.

Bottom Line: Trump Leads, Biden Failed

The Biden years saw chaos, weakness, and unchecked aggression. Under Trump, America is again showing strength while avoiding reckless foreign entanglements. His strategy is clear: negotiate hard, defend freedom, and stop wasting American lives and dollars.
