Trump Catches Democrat Tricking Voters

Advertisements

Well would you look at this!

Iowa Democrat Christina Bohannan has built her entire campaign around a carefully polished story — a “working-class fighter” who claims she knows what it’s like to struggle, sacrifice, and live paycheck to paycheck. But new financial records reveal a very different reality, one filled with luxury real estate, high-dollar stock investments, and six-figure assets that place her firmly in the political elite.

For years, Bohannan has toured Iowa telling voters she understands what it means to “struggle to put food on the table.” She has repeatedly highlighted her childhood in a trailer park and her claims of choosing between groceries and prescription medicines.

But her personal finances tell the opposite story.

Million-Dollar Mansion Exposed

According to public real estate records, Bohannan recently purchased a $1.55 million mansion in Iowa City. The home previously belonged to University of Iowa basketball coach Fran McCaffery and sits in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the region.

At the same time, Bohannan owns a waterfront condo in a gated Sarasota, Florida, community — a development where properties range from $300,000 to over $1 million and include thousands in yearly homeowner fees.

This isn’t just a vacation property. According to her own disclosures, Bohannan earns up to $50,000 a year in rental income from the condo.

That is not the lifestyle of someone “struggling to put food on the table.”
That is the lifestyle of someone campaigning on a manufactured narrative.

Six-Figure Tech Stocks Despite Her Own “Ethics Plan”

Bohannan has loudly promoted an “ETHICS PLAN” requiring members of Congress to stop trading individual stocks while serving in office.

Yet her own filings show she and her husband continue to hold six-figure investments in companies like:

  • Apple
  • Alphabet (Google)
  • Meta (Facebook)

She has not divested from any of them.

It’s the classic Washington formula: one set of rules for voters, another set of rules for Democrats in power.

Hypocrisy on Display After Attack on GOP Opponent

Bohannan is preparing to challenge Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District. And earlier this month, she tried to score political points by posting a picture of Miller-Meeks sitting in first class on a plane, claiming it showed her opponent’s “true values.”

The attempt backfired instantly.

Local district supervisor Austin Hayek blasted Bohannan for her hypocrisy:

“Christina Bohannan is concerned with first-class — weird since she just bought a $1.55 million home.”

He added that Bohannan seems eager to force others to “share the wealth,” while enjoying the perks of million-dollar living herself. Hayek ended the statement with a blunt message:

“Stop the virtue signaling.”

A Pattern Trump Supporters Know Well

This is yet another example of Democrats campaigning as champions of the working class while living lives of comfort, privilege, and elite status.

President Trump has repeatedly warned voters about these manufactured political personas — and Bohannan’s financial records appear to prove him right once again.

Her public message says “I struggle like you.”

Her private lifestyle says “I live like a Washington insider.”

For voters, who have watched politicians play this game for decades, the pattern couldn’t be clearer.
