Gabbard has given Trump a stern warning.

Former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who sought the Democratic nomination for President in 2020 but has since switched parties and endorsed former President Donald Trump, recently made noteworthy comments about Vice President Kamala Harris. Gabbard, who has been assisting Trump with debate preparation, emphasized that Harris should not be underestimated on the debate stage.

In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Gabbard addressed whether she views Harris as a “formidable opponent,” much like Harris’s campaign team views Trump. Gabbard acknowledged Harris’s substantial experience and asserted that she will be a strong debater.

Gabbard also highlighted that the upcoming debate presents a significant opportunity for voters to scrutinize the contrasting records of the Trump and Biden administrations. “President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris offer starkly different records. We have a rare scenario where both candidates have served in top executive roles—Trump as President for four years and Harris now nearly four years as Vice President alongside President Biden,” Gabbard pointed out.

Reflecting on her previous debates with Harris during the 2020 Democratic primary, Gabbard noted her willingness to contribute to Trump’s campaign by sharing insights from her past experiences. “If I can support President Trump, it’s by drawing on my experiences from debating Harris in 2020. I can help highlight the inconsistencies between her past positions and her current statements as the Democratic nominee,” Gabbard explained.

Gabbard’s input could prove valuable as Trump prepares for a crucial debate with Harris, especially given her unique perspective on the dynamics of debating the Vice President. Her observations underscore the critical nature of the upcoming debate in shaping public perception of both candidates’ records and future visions.
