Biden Team On The Run

The Biden White House is under fire again—and this time, insiders are staying silent.

Annie Tomasini, a longtime Biden aide and former deputy chief of staff, has invoked the Fifth Amendment during testimony before the House Oversight Committee. She’s now the third Biden associate to refuse to answer questions in the escalating probe into the president’s mental fitness and alleged abuse of executive power.

House Republicans Investigate Biden’s Use of Autopen

Led by Chairman James Comer (R-KY), House Republicans are investigating whether President Biden personally authorized executive orders, pardons, and legislation—or whether an autopen signed critical documents without his direct involvement.

The Oversight Committee fears this may be a deliberate cover-up to hide the president’s cognitive decline, especially after Biden’s embarrassing debate performance and abrupt withdrawal from the 2024 race.

“Three key witnesses have now refused to testify,” Comer said. “There is a growing pattern of Biden insiders protecting themselves from potential criminal charges.”

Who’s Pleading the Fifth? A Growing List of Biden Loyalists

So far, three senior figures tied to Biden have refused to cooperate:

  • Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s former White House physician
  • Anthony Bernal, former aide to Jill Biden
  • Annie Tomasini, Biden’s Oval Office operations director

Their refusal to answer basic questions—such as whether they were instructed to lie about Biden’s health or conceal classified documents—is raising alarm across Capitol Hill.

What Did Biden Know—And When?

Chairman Comer disclosed that Tomasini was specifically asked:

  • If she was told to lie about Biden’s medical condition
  • Whether she advised Biden on handling of classified documents
  • If she helped cover up foreign business dealings tied to the Biden family

She pleaded the Fifth to all of them.

Tomasini’s access to Biden’s private residence and inner circle adds to the suspicion. Axios previously reported that she worked to “shield the president” early in his term—raising new concerns about who was really calling the shots.

Trump Sounds the Alarm: “This Is a Tremendous Scandal”

From the Oval Office, President Donald Trump responded forcefully:

“The autopen scandal is one of the biggest in 50 to 100 years. I guarantee Biden had no clue what he was signing. Zero.”

Meanwhile, Biden claims he personally approved all actions during his presidency—calling the investigation “ridiculous and false.” But as more witnesses clam up, even some mainstream media voices are starting to question the narrative.

More Witnesses Coming Forward

Nine more former Biden officials are expected to be interviewed. House Republicans say this is just the beginning.

Comer made it clear: “The American people deserve the truth about who was running the country—and whether any laws were broken in the process.”
