Biden went off script!
Panic ensued in the White House after President Biden went off script and claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power.”
According to The Hill, President Biden made headlines during his speech in Warsaw, Poland, where he eventually took a shot directly at Putin and stated, “for God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power.”
Biden’s comments immediately went viral which prompted the White House to release a statement correcting him.
The White House responded saying Biden made a mistake and that he was only referring to Putin exercising power outside of Russia.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken further noted that the United States has no plans of organizing a regime change in Moscow whatsoever.
Republican Senator James Risch then said, “He gave a good speech at the end, but as you pointed out already, there was a horrendous gaffe right at the end of it.”
“I wish he would stay on script. Whoever wrote that speech did a good job for him. But my gosh, I wish they would keep him on script,” Risch further said.
