You won’t believe what Biden just tried.
In an absolutely shocking turn of events, President Joe Biden and his administration considered charging Americans who were stuck in Taliban controlled Afghanistan to actually pay $2000 per ticket or more to fly back home to safety!
According to the New York Post, after immediate blowback from Americans, the State Department immediately scrapped the plan but people were still nonetheless shocked that the Biden Administration even considered this.
John Denluvey from the Washington Examiner wrote, “State Dept’s Overseas Security Advisory Council said Aug. 14: ‘Repatriation flights are not free, & passengers will be required to sign a promissory loan agreement & may not be eligible to renew their U.S. passports til the loan is repaid. Cost may be $2,000 or more per person.‘”
After quickly making headlines for the outrageous act, State Department spokesman Ned Price quickly did damage control and said, “In these unique circumstances, we have no intention of seeking any reimbursement from those fleeing Afghanistan.”

Heritage Foundation communications director John Cooper mocked the ridiculous plan and joked, “Oh, you’d like to escape the Taliban? That’ll be one month’s rent, please.”
If that wasn’t bad enough the Biden Administration doesn’t even know how many Americans have been evacuated yet!
