AOC keeps pushing bogus lies and the left eats it up.
In a recent interview, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) made headlines with her comments about Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D), the Democratic vice presidential nominee. Speaking with Stephen Colbert on “The Late Show,” Ocasio-Cortez suggested that Walz’s approach is driving former President Trump and his running mate, Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio), “nuts” and that they were afraid of him.
Ocasio-Cortez argued that Trump and Vance appear to believe they hold a monopoly on traditional masculinity. However, she claimed Walz, who has experience as a football coach and led a gay-straight alliance, is challenging that notion. She described Walz as presenting a different model of masculinity that contrasts sharply with the image Trump and Vance project.
Walz’s critical remarks about Trump and Vance as “weird” have resonated with many Democrats. In response, Trump dismissed Walz’s critique during a recent factory visit. Trump characterized Walz’s behavior and public appearances as far beyond mere eccentricity, suggesting that “weird” was a mild description for what he perceives as extreme behavior.
This week at the Democratic National Convention, Vice President Kamala Harris and Walz took center stage, energizing the Democratic base with their speeches. Their enthusiasm comes in the wake of President Biden’s exit from the presidential race, energizing the party with a renewed sense of optimism and support.
In contrast, Trump’s campaign has criticized the Democratic National Convention for lacking substance, accusing it of focusing on personal attacks rather than offering a clear vision for the country. “The DNC is low energy and ineffective, filled with personal attacks and misinformation,” said Steven Cheung, Trump’s campaign communications director. He emphasized that the Republican National Convention and Trump’s campaign offer a more positive and forward-looking vision for America.
Additionally, Vance’s spokesperson criticized Walz, Harris, and Ocasio-Cortez, accusing them of endorsing radical policies that have led to high prices and a crisis at the southern border. They pointed out that Walz signed a bill allowing for the potential removal of children from parents who oppose gender transition treatments, arguing that Americans cannot afford to endure four more years of what they view as extreme, leftist policies.
