Billionaire Elon Musk just made things worse for former President Donald Trump and said that he has endorsed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is he chooses to run in 2024.
According to The Hill, Musk endorsed DeSantis via a tweet when a user asked him who he was planning to support.
Musk endorsed DeSantis while also criticizing President Biden and his administration and said, “My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far.”
Musk also pointed out that he support former President Barack Obama and reluctantly voted for President Biden over Trump in 2020 but appeared to regret the decision.
Musk also talked about how he felt it was wrong for them to ban Trump on Twitter before he purchased it. “I’m fine with Trump not tweeting. The important thing is that Twitter correct a grave mistake in banning his account, despite no violation of the law or terms of service. Deplatforming a sitting President undermined public trust in Twitter for half of America,” Musk explained.
