The Washington Examiner is reporting that the House has officially impeached President Trump.
Democrats and only one other independent have just voted in favor of two articles of impeachment against President Trump. The issue is now headed down to Senate which will most likely result in an acquittal of President Trump.
This makes Donald J. Trump the third president in American history to have been impeached.
“After months of investigation, there can be no serious debate about the evidence at hand,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler stated.
