Democrat crime is out of control, and it’s about to get worse!
You won’t believe what one Chicago alderman just revealed about the real agenda behind the city’s rising crime wave.
Despite Chicago leading the nation in homicides in 2024, city officials are still working to strip funding from the police department, according to Alderman Anthony Napolitano.
“This isn’t ignorance—it’s intentional,” Napolitano told Fox News Digital. “They want to gut the police budget and cover up the crime problem to push their radical agenda.”
Chicago Leads U.S. in Homicides—Again
In 2024, Chicago recorded 573 homicides, topping the charts for the 13th consecutive year. According to Wirepoints, the city’s homicide rate was five times higher than New York City’s and triple that of Los Angeles.
Napolitano says Democrat leaders are manipulating the numbers—and the truth—to justify their plan to divert police funding into pet political projects.
“They’re demonizing law enforcement to make it easier to redirect the budget elsewhere,” he said. “But it’s destroying our city.”
$250 Million “Revitalization” Project a Total Failure
One of the largest recipients of diverted police funds? A flashy city initiative called INVEST South/West—which Napolitano labeled an “epic failure.”
The project, launched in 2019, promised to breathe new life into struggling neighborhoods. Instead, it burned through $250 million in taxpayer dollars with little to show for it.
“Why throw money at one corner of the city while letting crime run wild everywhere else?” Napolitano asked. “If we made the whole city safe again, investment would follow.”
Chicago’s Sanctuary City Policies Backfire Big Time
The alderman also blasted city leaders for spending millions on illegal migrants, expecting a political payoff that never came.
“They bet everything on a Kamala Harris win,” he said. “They thought the federal government would reward them. But that help never arrived, and now taxpayers are footing the bill.”
Chicago remains a sanctuary city, even as resources are stretched thin and violent crime skyrockets. Napolitano has opposed the city’s sanctuary status for years—and now says his constituents are paying the price.
Law-Abiding Citizens Left Vulnerable
While high-crime neighborhoods pull in most police resources, safer districts like Napolitano’s 41st Ward are being neglected. That means slower response times for crimes like burglaries and assaults—even in areas where residents pay high taxes and follow the law.
“My constituents are furious,” Napolitano said. “When they need help, it’s not there—because our police are overwhelmed elsewhere.”
“Worst Leadership in City History”
Napolitano didn’t mince words about the impact of recent progressive leadership in Chicago.
“This is the worst administration we’ve ever had,” he said. “One failure after another—crime, immigration, public safety—every decision makes it worse.”
Taxpayers are demanding answers. With police under attack, crime surging, and public dollars funding failed projects and illegal migrant programs, Chicago’s future is on the line.
