Democrat Hits Trump’s ICE With Felony

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker escalates his war on law enforcement, accusing Trump-era immigration officers of criminal acts — while ignoring violent protesters in his own state.

Illinois Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker is once again picking a fight with President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement team, this time accusing federal ICE officers of committing felonies.

During an appearance on the Raging Moderates podcast, Pritzker said he “can’t believe anything ICE says” and claimed he has urged prosecutors to investigate federal agents for alleged misconduct in Chicago.

“You can’t believe anything ICE is doing,” Pritzker declared, claiming he wants to “go after ICE agents when they are committing felonies or breaching the law.”

The comments came after a confrontation in which an armed protester, Marimar Martinez, was shot by ICE agents during a violent demonstration in Chicago.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, Martinez — a U.S. citizen — rammed a law enforcement vehicle and blocked officers from leaving the scene. DHS officials say Martinez had earlier posted online messages inciting violence against officers, telling her “gang” to “f— those motherf—–s up.”

Despite those facts, Pritzker told listeners that ICE officers “antagonized” the protester and may have started the incident. He repeated his claim that federal immigration officers were breaking the law, not enforcing it.

DHS officials, meanwhile, stand by the agents, saying Martinez’s attack could have seriously injured law enforcement personnel. The woman reportedly drove herself to the hospital afterward.

This isn’t the first time Pritzker has targeted Trump’s immigration policies. When President Trump deployed National Guard troops to secure cities during unrest, Pritzker sued to stop him, calling it “Trump’s invasion.”

Now, Pritzker is doubling down, suggesting that ICE and Border Patrol agents are being used to “intimidate voters” before the 2026 midterms — a wild conspiracy theory that echoes the same talking points Democrats used against Trump in 2020.

“They want to militarize our cities so they can control the elections,” Pritzker claimed.

Republicans are firing back, calling the remarks an attack on law enforcement and a dangerous message that could embolden anti-police radicals nationwide.

While Trump’s policies helped cut illegal border crossings and restore law and order, Pritzker and the Left continue to side with activists who challenge federal agents and defend violent agitators.

As Democrats grow more desperate heading into the 2026 elections, their attacks on Trump’s ICE show just how far the party has drifted from protecting American citizens to protecting illegal offenders.
