Democrats Rage Over Trump’s New Endorsement

Former Representative Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, who departed from the Democratic Party in 2022, has announced her endorsement of former President Donald Trump for the upcoming presidential election in November.

Gabbard, who has increasingly aligned herself with conservative viewpoints, made this significant endorsement at a National Guard Association event in Michigan, where Trump was also present. During her speech, Gabbard expressed her concerns about the current administration’s foreign policy, highlighting what she perceives as a dangerously escalating situation on the global stage. “Our nation is now confronted with conflicts on multiple fronts, and the risk of nuclear confrontation has never been higher,” Gabbard stated. “These issues are why I am dedicated to supporting President Trump’s return to the White House. His leadership is crucial for ensuring our national security and stability.”

Gabbard, who previously sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, has since transitioned from Congress and distanced herself from her former party. Her recent activities include appearances at various conservative forums, including the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Notably, during her 2020 campaign, Gabbard famously challenged Kamala Harris on her record as a prosecutor, a moment that drew considerable attention.

In the lead-up to the election, Gabbard has been collaborating with Trump as he prepares for the forthcoming debate against Vice President Harris, the Democratic nominee. Her endorsement follows a recent shift in political allegiances by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who suspended his independent presidential campaign and threw his support behind Trump. This development is being highlighted by Trump’s campaign as a notable boost, especially in key battleground states.
