Fox News Says Trump Doomed

Here’s what Fox is saying now.

BREAKING ANALYSIS — Fox News anchor Bret Baier delivered a harsh reality check for Republicans after Tuesday night’s election results — calling it one of the toughest nights in recent memory for the GOP.

Speaking on Fox & Friends Wednesday morning, Baier explained that Democrats dominated across several key states — including New York, New Jersey, and Virginia — exposing serious weaknesses in how Republicans are connecting with voters heading into the 2026 elections.

“It’s a big loss,” Baier admitted. “Maybe not the results, but the spreads. Young women and suburban voters in New Jersey and Virginia overwhelmingly went Democrat because of inflation, affordability, and how they feel when they go grocery shopping.”

Baier said the economy and immigration — two major issues under President Trump’s leadership — are driving new voter behavior. He warned that images of ICE enforcement and rising prices may be shaping perceptions among younger voters and women, pushing them toward the left.

Democrats celebrated huge victories in the New York City mayoral race and governor’s races in New Jersey and Virginia. In one example, Democrat Mikie Sherrill beat Republican Jack Ciattarelli by more than ten points — a shocking result given earlier polls.

Baier emphasized that while these were “blue states,” the margin of defeat revealed a deeper challenge. “This divide between how Wall Street is doing and how working families are doing at home is something Republicans have to take seriously,” he said. “The spread in Virginia was massive.”

Still, Baier acknowledged that President Donald Trump was right when he pointed out that he wasn’t on the ballot — and that makes a difference. “When Trump isn’t leading the ticket, you lose that fire from the base,” he said. “But it does produce strong emotions on the other side.”

🔍 What This Means for Conservatives

The message is clear: Republicans must double down on real-world economic issues — groceries, gas prices, housing, and immigration enforcement — if they hope to reconnect with everyday Americans.

While Baier and Fox News say “Trump is doomed,” many conservatives see the results as proof that the movement still revolves around Trump’s energy, message, and America First policies.

With 2026 and 2028 elections fast approaching, one thing is certain — when Trump’s name is on the ballot, the fight changes completely.
