Joe Rogan Endorses Democrat For President

Rogan caught Trump and MAGA world off guard.

In a surprising twist, podcast icon Joe Rogan — known for his blunt takes and skepticism of leftist politics — gave an unexpected endorsement during a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. His pick? A Texas Democrat with controversial views on gender and biology.

Rogan praised Texas State Rep. James Talarico, a 36-year-old lawmaker who once claimed there are “six biological sexes,” and told him point-blank:
“You need to run for president.”

Talarico, who represents the 50th District near Austin, spoke about his Christian faith, Democratic values, and concerns over today’s political climate. Rogan, clearly impressed, told him, “We need someone who is actually a good person.”

But Talarico hesitated. “Can I push back on that?” he asked. “Politics has become a religion. People put all their faith in a politician.” He warned that blind loyalty — whether to Bernie Sanders on the left or Donald Trump on the right — can be dangerous.

Yet while Talarico may sound moderate, his past remarks tell a different story.

During a heated debate in 2021 over a bill banning biological males from girls’ sports in Texas schools, Talarico drew national attention when he argued that sex is not binary.

“Modern science recognizes more than two biological sexes,” he claimed. “There are six — not just male and female, but several chromosomal variations.”

Talarico cited rare conditions like XXY and XYY to justify his position, suggesting that sex is a “spectrum” and sometimes “ambiguous.” Conservatives pushed back hard, calling it another example of the left’s ongoing attempt to blur basic biological truth.

Even Rogan — who has repeatedly denounced gender ideology — has made it clear where he stands.

“When you say there are 78 genders, I can safely say you’re f—ing crazy,” he once said on-air.

Despite their differences, Talarico’s blend of religious rhetoric and polished delivery appeared to impress Rogan enough to float the idea of a presidential run. But for millions of Americans, especially older voters who still believe in objective science and common sense, Talarico’s record is troubling.

Joe Rogan’s comment is already stirring debate: Is this a sign of political openness — or a media personality being charmed by a well-spoken progressive?

Either way, the endorsement highlights a growing challenge for conservatives: progressive politicians who wrap radical ideas in faith-based language.
