Former Vice President Kamala Harris has dropped a political bombshell, exposing deep cracks inside the Democratic Party in her upcoming memoir, “107 Days.”
In a shocking confession, Harris revealed that Joe Biden’s age and declining stamina played a devastating role in his failed 2024 reelection campaign — a failure that ultimately paved the way for President Donald Trump’s historic victory.
“Even on his most difficult days, he was still sharper, more capable, and showed greater compassion than Donald Trump ever did at his peak,” Harris wrote, trying to cushion her criticism before delivering a hard truth. “But at 81, Joe began to wear down. That’s when his age became clear through both physical missteps and verbal slips.”
Biden’s Collapse on the Debate Stage
Biden’s decision to run for a second term was controversial from the start, with millions of Americans questioning his mental fitness and physical ability to lead.
Those concerns were fully realized during his first debate against President Trump, when Biden stumbled through key moments, appearing confused and overwhelmed.
Harris didn’t hold back when describing that pivotal night:
“As soon as he walked onto the debate stage in Atlanta, I could see he wasn’t right,” she wrote.
The disastrous performance sent panic through the Democratic Party. Within days, Biden dropped out of the race, and Harris launched her own campaign to step in as the nominee.
Her bid, however, lasted only 107 days before she was soundly defeated by President Trump in a landslide victory that reshaped American politics.
Harris Points the Finger at Biden’s Team
In her memoir, Harris tries to defend Biden’s record as president, insisting he could still perform his duties while in office.
“I don’t think it was a matter of incapacity,” Harris explained. “Had I believed that, I would have spoken up. While I’ve always been loyal to President Biden, my first and greatest loyalty has to be to my country.”
However, she accused Biden’s inner circle of making a reckless mistake by encouraging him to run for re-election despite the obvious risks.
Harris admitted she personally couldn’t advise Biden to step aside, fearing he would see it as “naked ambition” or even “poisonous disloyalty.”
Kamala’s Failed Attempt to Replace Biden
While Harris positioned herself as the natural successor to Biden, voters rejected her in overwhelming numbers. Her campaign became one of the shortest in modern history, collapsing after just over three months.
Her book, “107 Days,” offers what Harris describes as a “candid, personal account” of the chaos and infighting that tore apart the Democratic Party.
The memoir will be released next week, with Harris embarking on a 15-city international tour, including stops in Canada and the United Kingdom, in a desperate attempt to salvage her public image.
Why This Matters for 2025 and Beyond
This memoir confirms what many Americans suspected all along:
- Joe Biden was too weak and too old to lead the country through another term.
- Kamala Harris was consumed by ambition, but unable to unite her fractured party.
- Democrats ignored warning signs, clearing the way for President Trump’s decisive return to power.
With Democrats in turmoil and Harris’s book stirring more controversy, 2025 is shaping up to be another year of political upheaval — and a clear reminder of why strong leadership matters.
