Navy SEAL Issues Warning To Trump

Here’s what he had to say…

A Republican congressman with a background as a Navy SEAL sniper has issued a serious warning to former President Donald Trump regarding his upcoming campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Rep. Eli Crane (R-Ariz.), who has served three tours as a SEAL since enlisting after the September 11 attacks, has expressed grave concerns about the safety of the event, especially following an assassination attempt against Trump earlier this year.

During a meeting of a bipartisan task force investigating the July incident, Crane urged Trump to reconsider the Butler Farm Show grounds as a rally site, citing significant security vulnerabilities. “While I admire the former president’s bravery and dedication to his supporters, I strongly advise him and his team to avoid this location on October 5 and beyond,” Crane stated.

He emphasized the need for enhanced private security measures that would prioritize loyalty and operational flexibility over the bureaucratic limitations often faced by federal agencies. “It’s crucial for Trump to bolster his security team with those who have proven commitment, rather than rely solely on the federal protective services, which have demonstrated significant lapses in judgment,” he added.

Crane and Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.), both veterans with experience in high-stakes situations, shared insights about the rally site, which they deemed highly unsuitable for such an event. They voiced their frustration over the inadequate security measures that led to serious risks for Trump. “It was clear to us that basic precautions were overlooked,” Crane said. “Even without a military background, anyone could see the glaring failures that created vulnerabilities.”

Following a site visit, Crane noted that snipers should have been strategically positioned for maximum visibility and effectiveness. Instead, they were stationed in locations that compromised their line of sight, allowing a would-be assassin to get dangerously close to Trump.

The congressman questioned the competence of those responsible for security, stating, “There’s simply no excuse for what transpired.” He raised alarms about the potential implications if future threats come from more skilled and organized adversaries. “What happens when professional operatives from hostile nations attempt to target the president?” Crane asked.

Rep. Michael Waltz (R-Fla.) echoed these concerns, highlighting a recent incident where an Iranian agent was apprehended just before the rally without the Secret Service being informed. He warned that if more sophisticated groups were to coordinate an attack, the consequences could be dire.

As the October rally approaches, the emphasis on Trump’s safety remains paramount, underscoring the need for a vigilant and well-coordinated security approach in the face of evolving threats. The calls for enhanced measures reflect a broader recognition among Republican leaders that protecting the former president is not just a personal concern but a national priority.
