Here’s what Schiff had to say…
Democrat and well known Trump-hater Adam Schiff recently sat down with CBS where he boldly announced that it was clear to him that former President Donald Trump broke several laws and engaged in many attempts to over throw the government.
During his interview with CBS, Schiff stated, “You know, for four years the Justice Department took the position that you can’t indict a sitting president – uh, if the Department were now to take a position that you can’t investigate or indict a former president, then a president becomes above the law and that’s a dangerous idea that the founders would never have subscribed to – even more dangerous in the case of Donald Trump.”
“Donald Trump is someone who has shown when he’s not held accountable, he goes on to commit worse and worse abuses of power,” Schiff then said.
Schiff was then told that millions of Americans voted for Trump and asked if it would be dangerous to to prosecute him. Schiff responded by saying that he thinks “immunizing” Trump would be more dangerous than prosecuting him.
