Republicans are changing their opinions about Trump.

More whispers are circulating among Senate Republicans about whether or not they want to stand in solidarity with Trump.

It appears now that Republican Senator John Barrasso has flipped on former President Donald Trump and is now saying that he doesn’t believe presidents can declassify materials “by thinking about it.”

According to The Hill, Barrasso’s comments came during an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos where he initially tried to avoid the question.

When asked by Stephanopoulos, the Republican Senator responded, “I’ve not heard that one before… I don’t know what – anything about the rules for when a president declassifies documents and information.”

Then Stephanopoulos pressed Barrasso again about Trump’s comment and he responded, “I don’t think a president can declassify documents by saying so, by thinking about it.”

Last week in an interview with Fox News, Trump stated, “if you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying it’s declassified, even by thinking about it.”
