This is not good.
Former President Donald Trump’s closest ally and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell shared a now widely disproven theory about election interference and used it to attack Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
According to Newsweek, Lindell claimed that DeSantis received a boost from voter fraud in the 2022 midterm elections where the state of Florida Republicans won by a landslide unlike anywhere else.
It all began when Lindell told host Brannon Howse, “What we’re doing now is I am going after Dade County in the 2022 [midterm] election. And everyone says, ‘Now why would you go after Dade County?’ Was that, do you know why, Brannon?”
Lindell added, “For me, I look at deviations, everybody. That’s a deviation.”
Howse then interjected, “Because that was historical. Normally, Republicans don’t win that county.”
Lindell responded, “I don’t believe it. So, I’m just going to show everybody, just like we always tell you about Democrats where they stole their elections….I’m going to find out in Dade County, what happened there.”
