Nobody expected Bernie Sanders to say this.
In a shocking on-air moment that’s turning heads across America, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) exposed what millions of Americans have suspected for years: the Democratic Party has abandoned democracy itself.
During a revealing episode of the Flagrant podcast with comedian Andrew Schulz and co-host Akaash Singh, Sanders openly agreed that the Democratic Party has “removed the democratic process from its constituents”—and even backed the claim that it now poses a direct threat to democracy.
Sanders: “No Argument Here”
Schulz, a lifelong Democrat, expressed frustration over his party’s behavior:
“We talk about Republicans being autocrats, but the Democrats? They took away our voice. We had no say in who could be president.”
Sanders, who famously lost the 2016 Democratic primary to Hillary Clinton amid widespread accusations of bias and rigging, didn’t deny it.
“No argument here,” the senator said, signaling rare public agreement with critics of his own party.
“They Stole It from You” – Schulz Confronts Bernie
Schulz didn’t stop there. He confronted Sanders over his reluctant endorsement of Hillary Clinton:
“It felt like they stole it from you. And it broke my heart when you supported them.”
Sanders, visibly resigned, admitted the choice in 2016 was grim:
“In the world that I live in… you’re down to a choice. Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Not a great choice.”
“Not a Fair Primary Since 2008” – And Sanders Agrees
Podcast co-host Akaash Singh asked the question on many Americans’ minds:
“Has there even been a fair Democratic primary since 2008?”
Sanders’ response? “Yes… fair enough.”
He went on to reaffirm that his Independent status is a badge of honor, a silent protest against a system he clearly no longer trusts.
The Bottom Line for American Patriots
When even Bernie Sanders—the face of the progressive Left—admits that Democrats are rigging elections, silencing voices, and undermining democracy, it’s time for the American people to wake up. This isn’t just political theater—this is a direct threat to free elections and open debate.
Ask yourself: If the Democratic Party is willing to silence its own supporters, what else are they hiding from the American people?
