Trump Puts Biden To Shame Again

Trump has nothing to hide and the gives the media direct answers and they still treat him badly. Sad.

President Donald Trump’s approach to media engagement during his second term is breaking records. In just the first month of his presidency, Trump fielded an impressive 1,009 questions from journalists, according to a recent analysis. This figure, compiled by National Journal’s George Condon, dwarfs previous records set by past presidents, including Joe Biden, who answered only 141 questions in his first month.

Trump’s responsiveness to the press is significantly higher than even his 2017 numbers, where he took 199 questions between January 20 and February 20. This sharp increase underscores his commitment to directly communicating with the American people through the media.

Much of this exchange has occurred during Oval Office events that double as executive order signings. These events have become routine news conferences where reporters ask multiple questions. It’s not unusual for a press pool reporter to ask several questions in a single session, allowing the president to directly address current issues and concerns. Often, these sessions are held multiple times a day, amplifying the number of opportunities for the media to engage with the president.

Political experts note that Trump’s press interactions have evolved significantly over time. Martha Kumar, a political scientist and former professor at Towson University, observed that early in his first term, Trump relied more on phone interviews with friendly TV networks, but quickly realized this approach only reached his base. He soon shifted to more frequent and direct interactions with the broader public, ensuring that his message reached a wider audience.

One notable exchange occurred on February 19, when Trump’s 1,000th question came from Fox News producer Caroline McKee. She asked whether the District of Columbia should govern itself or if Congress should take over. Trump responded unequivocally, emphasizing his stance on maintaining strong governance and law and order in Washington, D.C.

Through these regular and candid exchanges, President Trump continues to set a new standard for presidential communication with the press, proving his commitment to transparency and direct engagement with the American people.
