Trump held court in front of everyone.
President Trump Calls Out NBC’s Peter Alexander for Pushing Jet Question Over South African Farm Murders
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a fiery Oval Office moment on Wednesday, President Donald J. Trump shut down NBC News correspondent Peter Alexander for asking about a donated luxury jet from Qatar instead of addressing the violent crisis facing white farmers in South Africa.
Moments after playing a powerful five-minute video for South African President Cyril Ramaphosa—allegedly documenting violent attacks on white South African farmers—President Trump was interrupted by what many see as a tone-deaf question from the mainstream media.
“Why are you asking about a jet when people are dying?” the president said, visibly frustrated. “NBC should be ashamed.”
Trump Defends Military Gift Amid Genocide Allegations
Alexander questioned the President about a $400 million luxury aircraft temporarily loaned to the U.S. Air Force by the Qatari government. President Trump dismissed the question as irrelevant and misleading.
“They’re giving a jet to the U.S. Air Force—what’s the problem with that?” he asked. “This is about saving lives, not distracting with nonsense.”
NBC Accused of Media Diversion: ‘You’re Not Smart Enough to Be a Reporter’
The President didn’t hold back, calling Alexander “a disgrace” and suggesting that NBC’s parent company, Comcast, should be investigated for journalistic malpractice.
“This is why Americans don’t trust the fake news media,” Trump said. “They won’t report on white farmers being murdered, but they obsess over a plane.”

Trump Shuts Down Media Diversion from South African Farm Killings
When Alexander tried to change the subject again—asking why Ramaphosa was welcomed at the White House if genocide was occurring—Trump immediately shut him down.
“Quiet,” Trump commanded. “You’re not serious. You just want to change the subject.”
The president returned to the issue minutes later, doubling down:
“If we had real journalists, they’d be reporting on the murder of white farmers. But this guy wants to talk about a jet. That’s fake news.”
Ramaphosa Tries Humor, Trump Stays Focused
In an attempt to ease tensions, President Ramaphosa joked, “I’m sorry I didn’t bring a plane.” Trump smiled and replied, “I wish you had. If your country gave the U.S. Air Force a jet, I’d take it.”
Conservatives Applaud Trump’s Defense of Truth and Priorities
Many Americans, especially older voters and veterans, praised President Trump’s strong stand. While liberal outlets continue to sidestep uncomfortable truths, Trump remains laser-focused on defending America’s interests—militarily and morally.
