The feud is heating up.
Not long ago, Tesla CEO and billionaire Elon Musk told former President Donald Trump to sail into the sunset.
Now ,during his most recent rally in Pennsylvania, Trump fired back at Musk and took aim at electric vehicles, an industry that Musk single-handedly created.
According to Fortune, Trump warned Musk that he would roll back many subsidies that the United States government gave to electric vehicle makers. Trump then talked about a close friend of his who complained about driving their EV from Kentucky to Washington, DC. for numerous charging stops.
“He told me (…) ‘please, please let’s get rid of this stuff’,” Trump said. He then said his friend spent “more time to charge the damn car” than actually driving it.
