President Donald J. Trump is once again under attack from far-left Democrats — and he’s not holding back.
In a powerful Truth Social post Thursday night, President Trump slammed the latest impeachment stunt launched by fringe Democrats, calling it a “desperate and dishonest political attack” by lawmakers he described as “total whackjobs.”
“The Democrats are out of control. They’ve lost everything — especially their minds,” Trump wrote. “They’re using impeachment like a political weapon because they can’t win at the ballot box.”
The push is being led by Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI), who filed seven articles of impeachment against President Trump. His so-called charges include enforcing immigration law and deporting a violent MS-13 gang member — actions most Americans support. He even targeted cost-cutting measures led by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, which have saved taxpayers millions.
The impeachment resolution has only one co-sponsor — Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) — a sign of how fringe and unserious this political move truly is.
Trump: “They Should Be Expelled”
President Trump didn’t mince words. “These radical Democrats have done more damage to this country than anyone can imagine. Maybe it’s time Republicans start talking about expelling them from Congress.”
He pointed to real national crises caused by Democrat policies — the open border disaster, historic inflation, the failed withdrawal from Afghanistan, and a foreign policy that’s emboldened enemies like Iran.
“These are not just political games,” Trump said. “This is about protecting America. And I won’t back down.”
Democrats Backpedal Fast
In a sign the impeachment stunt is already collapsing, three Democrats — Reps. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), Robin Kelly (D-IL), and Kweisi Mfume (D-MD) — all scrambled to remove their names from the resolution. Each cited a lack of party approval and legal vetting.
“It wasn’t reviewed properly,” said a spokesperson for Rep. Mfume. “We preferred to err on the side of caution.”
Conservatives see this for what it is — another baseless witch hunt meant to distract from President Trump’s success and momentum heading into the 2024 election.
