President Donald J. Trump turned the White House South Lawn into a scene straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting on Thursday night — blending humor, tradition, and a little bit of that classic Trump charm.
During the annual White House Halloween celebration, President Trump made headlines once again when he placed a full-size candy bar right on top of a young trick-or-treater’s head — just like he did during his first term. The moment, captured on camera, instantly went viral.
The child, dressed as DJ Marshmello, stood smiling as the crowd erupted in laughter. “@POTUS strikes again!” the White House Rapid Response team posted on X, celebrating the viral moment that reminded America of Trump’s down-to-earth sense of humor.

Classic Trump: Humor, Family, and Patriotism
While the mainstream media obsessed over politics, President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump focused on what really matters — family, faith, and fun.
The couple spent the evening handing out candy to guests that included military families, police officers, adoptive parents, and White House staff. Guests were treated to full-size Hershey’s bars and Twizzlers, packaged in festive Halloween boxes stamped with the Presidential Seal and the signatures of both the President and First Lady — a collectible memento for many attendees.
Among those present were Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, whose baby son came dressed as an adorable pumpkin, and Senior Advisor Stephen Miller, whose family joined in wearing matching skeleton costumes.
A Celebration of American Tradition
The South Portico glowed with warm, golden light as rows of pumpkins, provided by Frey Farms, decorated the historic entrance. The family-owned company has supplied pumpkins to the White House for over a decade — across 13 administrations — and proudly represents the heart of American agriculture.
According to the First Lady’s office, all pumpkins will be donated to D.C. Central Kitchen, a nonprofit helping feed families across the nation’s capital.
“Frey Farms is proud to continue working with the White House to celebrate America’s harvest and the farmers who make it possible,” said CEO Sarah Frey. “Our pumpkins represent the strength of American agriculture and the importance of healthy, homegrown food.”
Trump Brings Back the Spirit of the Season
In an era where Washington too often feels divided, President Trump once again reminded Americans of unity, generosity, and joy. The laughter, the candy, and the family atmosphere stood as a powerful contrast to the political bitterness dominating D.C. headlines.
For millions of supporters, this lighthearted Halloween moment was more than just candy — it was a glimpse of the America-First spirit that defined Trump’s presidency.
