Democrats are once again going after President Donald Trump — this time by questioning his health and fitness for office.
Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-Pa.) claimed on CNN that Trump appeared “incoherent” while addressing America’s top generals and admirals during a high-level meeting at Quantico, Virginia.
According to Dean, some military leaders “abandoned their notes” because they couldn’t follow Trump’s remarks. She blasted the event as “dangerous” and “reckless,” calling Trump both “unwell” and “aging.”
Democrats Attack, But Trump Stays on Offense
Dean accused the president of “rambling” about battleship design, stairs, and wars he had “solved.” She even mocked his comments, suggesting Trump wanted gold-plated warships.
But the reality? Trump was laying out bold new Pentagon policies alongside War Secretary Pete Hegseth. The president told military leaders America’s cities should be used as “training grounds” to fight crime and restore law and order, describing it as a “war from within.”
Health Questions Or Political Smear?
Dean doubled down on her health narrative, calling Trump “slower” and “more lethargic” than in his first term. Still, she admitted she wants him to succeed — even as she claimed he was “unwell.”
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) wasn’t buying it. When Dean confronted him at the Capitol, Johnson fired back: “A lot of folks on your side are [unwell], too.”
The Bigger Picture
This is not the first time Democrats have tried to raise doubts about Trump’s health. For years, the left and their allies in the media have floated baseless claims to weaken his credibility.
Meanwhile, Trump continues pressing forward with tough reforms, stronger military policies, and a renewed crackdown on America’s lawless cities.
