Trump isn’t done with Swift just yet.
President Donald Trump delivered memorable moments Monday while hosting the Philadelphia Eagles at the White House to honor their Super Bowl victory.
At 78, President Trump made history as the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, joining over 65,000 fans — including music star Taylor Swift — to watch the Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22, ending the Chiefs’ bid for a three-peat championship.
“It was an incredible game — a little surprising,” Trump said during his remarks. With a smile, he added, “I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that one work out?”
Swift, who is currently dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, appeared on the stadium’s big screen during the game and was met with loud boos from the crowd. In contrast, President Trump received a warm welcome with cheers and applause during the pregame national anthem.
Swift previously endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 election, after supporting Joe Biden in 2020. The chilly reception at the stadium reflected broader cultural trends, as many Americans express concerns over celebrity political activism.
After the game, President Trump posted on Truth Social, saying: “If anyone had a rougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs, it was Taylor Swift — the crowd booed her right out of the stadium. MAGA doesn’t forget!”
Adding an interesting twist, Swift originally grew up in the Philadelphia area before her family moved to Nashville, where she pursued her music career.
As the 2024 campaign season intensifies, President Trump’s leadership, connection with everyday Americans, and ability to engage the culture remain strong.
