Trump Makes Crockett Cry

Is Crockett telling the truth or spreading more lies?

In a moment that’s raising eyebrows across the country, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) admitted she busted down sobbing after watching a clip of California Senator Alex Padilla being lawfully removed from a Department of Homeland Security press conference in June.

Crockett made the emotional confession during an appearance on comedian Hasan Minhaj’s podcast, posted Wednesday, where she reflected on the widely circulated footage.

“They were playing a loop of what happened to Senator Padilla. I had no warning. I just broke down and started crying,” Crockett said.

The Texas Democrat called the video “hard to watch,” suggesting that Padilla’s removal was disrespectful to his status as California’s first Latino U.S. senator.

“He’s the senior senator from California… and there’s no respect. Not for him, not for his office, and not for his humanity.”

What Really Happened at the DHS Briefing?

On June 12, during a Department of Homeland Security briefing in Los Angeles featuring DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, Sen. Padilla entered the room unannounced.

According to video footage, Padilla did not initially identify himself. He interrupted prepared remarks and attempted to take over the event. Federal agents—including Secret Service and FBI—swiftly intervened and instructed him to raise his hands.

“I’m Senator Alex Padilla,” he shouted amid the chaos. “I have questions for the secretary.”

Padilla was restrained, briefly handcuffed, and removed from the area. The press conference continued as scheduled. He later met privately with officials.

Crockett’s Response: Emotional Outrage Over Immigration Enforcement

Crockett described the incident as proof of a “sinister” agenda within the Trump administration, claiming it was unfair for Padilla to be treated like a security threat.

“It tells you how sinister this administration is,” she claimed. “Nobody should have ICE throw them to the ground just for speaking out.”

However, critics say Padilla’s actions were reckless and designed to provoke a viral moment—something Democrats have increasingly relied on to drive media attention.

Republicans called the interruption a deliberate “spectacle,” especially amid heightened tensions in Los Angeles where illegal immigration enforcement had sparked unrest.

Trump Responds with Law and Order as Left-Wing Protests Escalate

The incident occurred as violent protests erupted in Los Angeles following ICE raids on illegal immigrants with criminal records. Businesses were vandalized, traffic blocked, and tensions surged.

In response, President Donald Trump took decisive action, deploying the National Guard and working with local officials to restore law and order. Curfews were enacted to protect residents and businesses from further chaos.

Over 200 Democrat lawmakers issued statements condemning the removal of Padilla—but many Americans are questioning why elected officials are defending disruptions rather than promoting public safety and respect for national security protocols.
