Trump Slams The Door In Democrat Faces

This was hilarious.

Florida Democrats Denied Entry to Secure Migrant Facility After Trump Visit

In a firm demonstration of law and order, five Democratic lawmakers in Florida were turned away from the state’s new high-security migrant detention facility — just days after President Donald Trump personally toured the site alongside Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

The facility, nicknamed “Alligator Alcatraz,” is located in the Florida Everglades. It officially began operations this week and is projected to cost approximately $450 million annually — an investment in restoring border security and protecting Florida communities.

Democrats Blocked from Entry Amid Safety Concerns

Democratic State Representatives Angie Nixon, Anna Eskamani, and Michele Rayner, along with State Senators Carlos Guillermo Smith and Shevrin Jones, tried to visit the facility on Thursday but were turned away by officials citing “safety concerns.”

Under Florida law, state legislators are allowed to visit state-run facilities, but security officials cited operational concerns as the reason for temporarily restricting access.

“I’ve served in the Legislature for 13 years and never experienced this,” Sen. Jones posted on social media.

However, many conservatives view the incident as an example of Democrats playing politics with a serious issue — only expressing concern about illegal immigration when it becomes politically convenient.

Florida GOP Responds: “Too Little, Too Late”

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier responded with a light jab, asking if the Democrat delegation brought an air boat — highlighting the remote, Everglades location of the facility.

The Florida Republican Party also weighed in, saying in a post on X (formerly Twitter):

“We appreciate these Democrat legislators for at last showing some concern about the illegal immigration crisis. And while they’re at it, they might want to grab some merchandise backing our work to reverse the damage caused by Joe Biden’s policies.”

The GOP had already begun selling official merchandise supporting the facility ahead of President Trump’s Tuesday visit — signaling growing grassroots support for the state’s aggressive action on illegal immigration.

A Clear Shift in Border Enforcement

This detention site is the latest step in President Trump’s renewed efforts to secure the southern border, enforce immigration laws, and hold the Biden administration accountable for what many see as years of neglect and open-border chaos.

With the first wave of detainees already arriving, “Alligator Alcatraz” is expected to house both migrants arrested within Florida and individuals transferred from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

For many Americans — especially in Florida — this marks a return to common-sense immigration enforcement and leadership that puts national security first.
