Trump Takes Over Hollywood

Hollywood is shaking.

Washington, D.C. – President Donald Trump is giving Hollywood a long-overdue reality check — and Americans are loving it. The 2025 Kennedy Center Honors will be nothing like the watered-down, woke spectacles of recent years.

On Wednesday, Trump — now the Chairman of the Kennedy Center — personally revealed the blockbuster lineup for December’s nationally televised ceremony. This year’s honorees:

  • George Strait – Country music royalty with decades of all-American hits
  • Sylvester Stallone – The patriotic action hero behind Rocky and Rambo
  • KISS – The legendary rock band that changed music forever
  • Michael Crawford – Beloved English actor, famed for The Phantom of the Opera
  • Gloria Gaynor – Iconic voice behind the timeless anthem “I Will Survive”

Trump Says ‘No’ to Woke Hollywood

Trump made it clear he personally approved the honoree list — and rejected several candidates.

“I was 98% involved… they all came through me. And yes, I turned down plenty. They were too woke. This is very different from the way it used to be.”

He blasted the Oscars for their political preaching and collapsing TV ratings.

“The Academy Awards are all woke and anti-Trump. People are tired of it. Nobody watches anymore.”

The Trump Effect: Kennedy Center Website Overwhelmed

Within minutes of his announcement, the Kennedy Center’s website crashed under a flood of visitors. Fans were placed in an online “waiting room,” with more than 300 people in line at one point just to see the honoree list.

Trump told Fox News Digital the turnaround has only just begun:

“The Kennedy Center is coming back. It wasn’t properly cared for. We’re taking it back and making it great again.”

Restoring American Culture

Since appointing himself chairman in February, Trump has fired multiple board members and vowed to stop the drag shows aimed at children that were previously featured at the center.

“THIS WILL STOP,” he declared on Truth Social.

He has tasked the National Symphony Orchestra and Washington National Opera with growing endowments, expanding outreach, and ensuring long-term cultural sustainability.

A Return to Glamour and Patriotism

The Kennedy Center’s Opera House — with its 2,347 seats — will once again host a truly star-studded, family-friendly celebration of lifetime achievement in the arts. With Trump at the helm, the nation’s top cultural honor is set to reclaim its place as a proud, glamorous tribute to American talent, tradition, and values.
