Schiff’s problems are just beginning.
Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) thought his legal troubles were bad. President Donald Trump’s Justice Department just made them worse.
Ed Martin, Trump’s handpicked “weaponization czar” at the DOJ, revealed that new investigative actions may be coming against Schiff and other Democrats tied to the now-defunct Jan. 6 Committee.
“Bill Pulte has already made a public referral on Adam Schiff for mortgage fraud, and even Schiff’s own attorneys have addressed it,” Martin told Fox News. “But that’s not the end of it—there’s more coming on Schiff.”
He didn’t say what was next—but the warning was clear.
Schiff’s Mortgage Fraud Scandal
In May, Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William Pulte sent a referral to the Justice Department accusing Adam Schiff of committing several acts of mortgage fraud spanning from 2003 to 2019.
- Schiff allegedly falsified bank documents.
- He listed his Maryland home as his “primary residence” while serving as a California congressman.
- He pulled a similar move on a condo in Burbank, California.
Critics argue that Schiff played the system for special financial favors that hardworking Americans could never get away with.
Schiff Accused of Leaking Against Trump
It doesn’t stop with mortgage fraud. Schiff has also been accused by a former House Intelligence Committee aide of approving classified leaks during the Russiagate witch hunt—specifically to damage President Trump.
An FBI memo claimed Schiff may have had limited protections under the Constitution, but the allegations fit a long-running pattern: using power to target Trump.
DOJ Expands Investigations
Martin hinted that the probe is wider than Schiff alone.
- He was spotted in Brooklyn looking into New York Attorney General Letitia James, who faces her own mortgage fraud allegations.
- James allegedly falsified property records to secure government-backed loans, mirroring Schiff’s scheme.
- Martin also signaled that Jan. 6 Committee members not covered by Biden’s last-minute pardons could soon be in trouble.
“A lot of people did not get a pardon that were involved in the select committee,” Martin said. “They ought to be keeping an eye on their mailbox.”
The Bottom Line
Adam Schiff built his career attacking Donald Trump. Now, the tables have turned.
With mortgage fraud allegations, accusations of leaking classified information, and DOJ investigators circling, Schiff could finally face the accountability he long tried to avoid.
And as Ed Martin made clear—Schiff isn’t the only Democrat with reason to worry.
