They can blame Trump for everything can’t they?
In a shocking turn of events, it appears that President Biden’s administration is trying to blame former President Donald Trump for the spy balloon crisis by claiming that he failed to detect China’s surveillance balloon program.
According to Fox, National Security Council strategic communications coordinator John Kirby held a press briefing to update Americans about the four high-altitude “objects” which were shot out of the sky over the U.S. and Canada.
Kirby attempted to claim that China’s high altitude surveillance program was up and running during the four years Trump was in office but he failed to detect it.
“They did not detect it,” Kirby said trying to blame Trump.
“When President Biden came into office, he directed the U.S. intelligence community to do a broad assessment of Chinese intelligence capabilities and ensure and to ensure that we were working to detect and to protect against them,” Kirby explained.
“We were able to determine that China has a high altitude balloon program for intelligence collection that’s connected to the People’s Liberation Army. It was operating during the previous administration, but they did not detect it. We detected it. We tracked it. And we have been carefully studying it to learn as much as we can,” he added trying to suggest the Trump failed to stop China from spying on the U.S.
Trump on the other hand denied China ever flying any objects over the United States without permission.
“This never happened. It would have never happened,” Trump explained.
Trump later said Kirby and the mainstream media were spreading disinformation, “It never happened with us under the Trump administration, and if it did, we would have shot it down immediately. It’s disinformation.”
President Biden can blame Trump all he wants. Everyone knows that China knew better than test Trump’s temper by flying spy balloons over the United States when he was in office.
