AOC can cry all she wants, MAGA!
On Sunday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., took to social media with a series of dramatic rants, attacking President-elect Donald Trump and attempting to paint his potential presidency in a negative light. Her tirade began with a complaint about a TikTok notification that thanked “President Trump” for “restoring” the app, despite Trump not yet officially taking office. The notification said, “We are lucky that Donald Trump has indicated that he is going to work with us on a solution to bring back TikTok once in office.”
Ocasio-Cortez, visibly frustrated, took to Instagram to argue that this message was misleading, since Trump was not yet the president and was still a private citizen at that point. She went on to suggest that TikTok’s notification was an indication of some sort of private agreement between the company and Trump’s administration, asserting that the app might be trying to use his influence to further its own agenda.
In her rant, AOC tried to shift focus to conspiracy theories about TikTok, claiming that while many had warned about the app’s potential for Chinese propaganda, it was now becoming a tool for promoting “right-wing” ideas. She even warned that this was a sign of what she called “21st-century fascism.”
Later in the day, the congresswoman turned her attention to the upcoming inauguration of Donald Trump, dismissing questions about her attendance by harshly criticizing the president. When asked by journalists whether she would attend, Ocasio-Cortez responded sharply, “I don’t celebrate rapists, so no, I’m not going to the inauguration.”
She also fired back on social media after the conservative account Libs of TikTok reposted her comments. When accused of slandering Trump, Ocasio-Cortez arrogantly dismissed the criticism, writing, “Oh, are you triggered? Cry more.”
These comments reflect her consistent pattern of inflammatory rhetoric, aimed at casting President Trump and his supporters in a negative light, while distracting from the real issues at hand. It’s clear that for Ocasio-Cortez, ideological warfare is the preferred strategy, even if it means sowing division and spewing unsubstantiated claims.

I believe the House should censure @AOC for calling President Trump a r*****t. Despite her claims, he has never been charged with such an offense, and she is fully aware of this. She should begin preparing for potential financial consequences, as she is likely to face the same… pic.twitter.com/lctwLknKkI
