President Donald Trump may have far less time to advance his agenda than many Republicans realize if Democrats regain control of Congress in the 2026 midterm elections, according to conservative commentator Dave Rubin.
During a preview of Sean Hannity’s upcoming Hannity’s Hang Out podcast, Rubin argued that the stakes for Republicans extend well beyond simply holding onto congressional majorities. He warned that a Democratic victory in either chamber could dramatically change the final years of Trump’s presidency and bring much of his legislative agenda to a standstill.
