He finally said it.
While recently speaking to reporters, President Biden appears to have jumbled his words yet again and has confessed on camera that he believes COVID-19 is here to stay and were all just going to have to deal with it.
It’s important to remember this is the same man that swore up and down to the American people that he would defeat the virus when he was running in 2020.
What’s even more confusing is Biden contradicted himself and jumbled the words when he made the statement. President Biden said, “I don’t think COVID is here to stay but having COVID in the environment here and in the world is probably here to stay.”
He then said, “COVID as we’re dealing with it now is not here to stay, the normal doesn’t have to be. We have so many more tools we developed and we continue to develop that can contain COVID and other strains of COVID.”
Honestly, it is unclear what he meant by this. However, what we think Biden is trying to say is that science and modern medicine will eventually make COVID not as serious of a issue as it is currently. Biden likely believes that while COVID is going to be here permanently, pharmaceutical companies and medical professionals will make it so that most people are safe in the long run.
