Ocasio-Cortez can’t handle the fact that more Americans than ever realize they need Donald Trump back in the White House.

During a recent rally in the South Bronx, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez faced criticism from local New Yorkers after she characterized the event as a “trick” predominantly attended by “out-of-towners.” Contrary to her remarks, many attendees interviewed by “Jesse Watters Primetime” identified themselves as locals who were disillusioned with Ocasio-Cortez’s tenure, arguing that her influence has been negligible since she took office.

One attendee expressed frustration, urging Ocasio-Cortez to steer clear of the Bronx, highlighting the strong local support for Trump. Another woman criticized the Democratic socialist representative for her perceived lack of impact on the community, asserting that she has “done nothing” to address their issues.

A different woman invited Ocasio-Cortez to visit the Bronx to witness their struggles firsthand, arguing that the congresswoman is disconnected from the realities faced by her constituents.

Despite the Bronx voting overwhelmingly for President Biden in the 2020 election, there is a growing sentiment among some residents that change is necessary after his four years in office. Trump’s rally, which exceeded expectations with a turnout of over 25,000 people, was described by the former president as a “love fest,” receiving enthusiastic support from the crowd.

Fox News spoke with numerous attendees who voiced their support for Trump, citing a desire to return to the conditions of his presidency. One man praised Trump as a champion for the people, while another lamented the current administration’s handling of inflation and gas prices, reminiscing about the lower costs under Trump.

The concerns of Bronx residents revolved around financial pressures, crime, immigration, and housing, with many feeling that Biden has failed to address these critical issues. One woman critiqued Biden’s racial remarks, declaring her support for Trump despite the president’s comment that implied a lack of Black identity if one did not support him.

Host Jesse Watters emphasized that Trump dedicated over an hour to addressing these voter concerns. Trump himself highlighted the perceived failures of the Biden administration, promising to rebuild the economy swiftly upon Biden’s departure.

Some rally attendees, identifying as Democrats, expressed their intention to vote for Trump in the upcoming election, signaling a shift in their political allegiance. Cherie Corso, a New Yorker who supported Trump in 2016, remarked that Trump’s speech resonated with the crowd, predicting a Trump victory despite his controversial persona, emphasizing his ability to “get the job done.”
