Bolton is back to his slanderous ways again.
President Donald J. Trump has once again reshaped Washington—this time by appointing Senator Marco Rubio to serve in a rare dual capacity as both Secretary of State and National Security Adviser.
Rubio becomes the first American since Henry Kissinger to hold both powerful positions simultaneously—a move that signals strength, unity, and confidence in leadership.
But not everyone is applauding.
John Bolton, a former national security adviser and longtime Trump critic, appeared on CNN Thursday to slam the decision. Bolton called the appointment “bizarre” and accused the Trump White House of lacking direction.
In reality, President Trump is doing what he does best: cutting through bureaucracy and putting results first.
On the same day, President Trump announced the reassignment of Mike Waltz—former congressman and Army Green Beret—from national security adviser to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Waltz’s new post will require Senate confirmation, and during the transition, Rubio will temporarily take the reins.
Bolton complained that the White House didn’t line up a successor in advance, calling it a sign of disorganization. But many Americans see it differently. They view Rubio’s dual role as a clear message to America’s enemies—and to the deep state—that Trump means business.
“When times are tough, you need leaders you can trust,” one senior official reportedly said.
Bolton also took aim at Trump’s decision to remove Waltz, blaming a minor internal misstep involving a private Signal chat. In that incident, The Atlantic’s editor was accidentally added to a group where sensitive details about military operations were being discussed.
But supporters argue that Trump’s swift action shows decisive leadership, not dysfunction. The Signal chat incident simply reinforced the need for someone with both loyalty and discretion—qualities Rubio has consistently shown.
According to a report from Politico, Rubio is expected to serve in both roles for at least six months. The move places one of Trump’s most trusted allies at the helm of U.S. foreign policy during a time of global uncertainty.
And conservatives across the country are applauding the bold shake-up.
With conflict in the Middle East, rising tensions with China, and border security at the top of voters’ minds, President Trump isn’t wasting time. He’s making sure America is protected, respected, and prepared.
This is America First in action.
While media pundits and former officials wring their hands, real Americans know the truth: Trump is cleaning house, tightening national security, and surrounding himself with warriors who put patriotism over politics.
