MTG Attacks Trump

Strong conservative voices are urging a return to the core values that built the MAGA movement—starting with peace through strength and prioritizing America’s needs at home.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), one of President Donald Trump’s most vocal allies and a powerful advocate for the America First movement, released a forceful message Friday urging the Trump administration to stay true to its conservative roots.

In a detailed post on X (formerly Twitter), Greene expressed concern that key foreign policy moves could alienate grassroots supporters who powered President Trump’s historic return to the White House. Her remarks came just as the President passed the 100-day mark of his second term.

“I represent the base,” Greene wrote. “When I’m upset, it means the base is upset.”

Greene’s post is resonating across conservative media, raising serious questions about U.S. involvement overseas and highlighting the need for a sharper domestic focus—especially on border security, energy independence, and constitutional freedoms.

Trump Still Commands Strong Support Among GOP Voters

Despite Greene’s sharp warning, President Trump continues to enjoy overwhelming support among Republicans. A recent AP-NORC poll showed that 70% of GOP voters still rate Trump as a “good” or “great” president.

In Congress, Republican lawmakers are working hand-in-hand with the President on high-priority issues including:

  • A conservative budget blueprint,
  • Securing the southern border,
  • Rolling back overreach from federal agencies.

These remain central to the America First agenda—and vital to keeping the conservative coalition united heading into 2026.

Concerns Mount Over Iran Tensions

Greene’s strongest criticisms focused on rising tensions with Iran. She reminded followers that the MAGA movement was founded on rejecting endless foreign wars.

“We campaigned on peace. Now we’re staring down a potential conflict with Iran,” she warned.

Negotiations with Iran were recently postponed after President Trump ordered sweeping sanctions on Iranian oil exports. The move came in response to Tehran’s alleged support for Houthi attacks in the Red Sea, which the U.S. has countered with over 1,000 airstrikes in recent months.

Trump stated on Truth Social:

“ALERT: All purchases of Iranian oil or petrochemical products must stop NOW. Anyone doing business with Iran will be blocked from U.S. markets. This is not optional.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also issued a stark message, saying Iran “will face consequences” if it continues destabilizing actions in the region.

Still, Greene cautioned against further escalation, saying America should not “bomb foreign countries on behalf of others with nuclear arsenals.” Many in the base agree: our focus must remain on strengthening our homeland.

Ukraine Minerals Deal Raises Red Flags

Greene also criticized the administration’s recent minerals agreement with Ukraine, calling it a potential repeat of past foreign policy mistakes.

“Didn’t we learn anything from Iraq?” she wrote. “Why are we making long-term deals overseas when our own lands are full of untapped resources?”

The agreement allows the U.S. to access rare earth minerals in Ukraine as partial repayment for American aid. Trump argues the deal ensures the U.S. “gets more than we gave,” although exact financial figures remain debated.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent praised the agreement, saying it “sends a message to Moscow” and aligns with America’s long-term strategic interests. But Greene disagreed, saying America should develop its own mineral reserves instead of remaining dependent on unstable regions.

Greene Urges a Full Return to MAGA Core Values

In addition to foreign policy concerns, Greene called out other pressing issues that matter to conservatives:

  • Government land seizures that block resource development,
  • Lack of accountability in the judiciary,
  • Continued questions around COVID-19 mandates and vaccine transparency.

Her core message: it’s time to double down on the priorities that built the MAGA movement—protecting liberty, securing America’s borders, and putting American workers first.

“I’m not against Trump. I’m fighting for the conservative base that got him here.”

Final Thoughts: Unity Through America First

President Trump’s leadership remains strong, and his support among conservatives is undeniable. But Greene’s message is a timely reminder: the base wants action—not foreign entanglements.

For older Americans, veterans, small business owners, and patriotic families across the country, the focus must remain where it belongs—right here at home.
