Trump’s Biggest Hater Banned From Where?

Liberals are losing their minds. This is clearly another case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Whoopi Goldberg recently made headlines when she claimed on The View that a popular bakery in Staten Island refused to fulfill her birthday dessert order due to her political views. However, the bakery’s owner has strongly denied these allegations, offering a different explanation for the delay.

On a recent episode of The View, Goldberg enjoyed her 69th birthday with Charlotte Russe, a classic dessert she revealed was her mother’s favorite. During the segment, she recounted how her order almost didn’t go through because of what she suggested was the bakery’s opposition to her liberal political beliefs. Goldberg stated that the bakery had initially told her their ovens weren’t working and provided other excuses, which she interpreted as a way to avoid fulfilling her order due to her politics. “They claimed that the ovens were down, all kinds of things, but people went and got them anyway,” Goldberg said, adding that the bakery’s refusal wasn’t about her being a woman but rather about her political stance.

Despite this claim, Goldberg continued to encourage her co-hosts and audience to enjoy the desserts, which were eventually brought to the studio for the show. “Pick these up and celebrate with me and my mom,” she said, signaling that the situation wouldn’t ruin her celebration.

After some investigation, Entertainment Weekly confirmed that the bakery in question was Holtermann’s Bakery, a family-owned establishment in Staten Island that has been serving the community for over 140 years. The distinctive packaging of the Charlotte Russe desserts led them to identify the bakery.

However, Jill Holtermann, the owner of the bakery, rejected Goldberg’s version of events. Holtermann explained that the delay was not due to political differences but because the bakery was dealing with ongoing mechanical issues with its boilers, a problem caused by the age of the building, which dates back to 1930. “I said to Whoopi, ‘I can’t do it right now,’” Holtermann explained, stressing that she simply didn’t want to commit to an order she couldn’t fulfill due to the equipment problems.

Holtermann clarified that, despite the challenges, she did manage to prepare 50 Charlotte Russe desserts, which were picked up early the next morning in time for The View taping.

Since the episode aired, Holtermann’s Bakery has reportedly been flooded with calls, but the owner remains firm in her stance that the bakery’s issues were not politically motivated. She emphasized that her primary concern was maintaining the quality of her service in the face of mechanical difficulties, and that the situation had nothing to do with Goldberg’s political views.
