Cheney Has Public Meltdown

Cheney is definitely hiding something.

In a recent exchange, Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) engaged in a heated back-and-forth with Fox News’s Mark Levin over allegations regarding her management of the GOP’s involvement in the House Jan. 6 committee. The dispute arose following Levin’s labeling of Cheney as “sleazy” in light of claims made in an article by The Federalist, which accused Cheney of withholding crucial evidence favorable to former President Trump. The piece pointed to previously undisclosed committee transcripts and referenced Kash Patel, a national security official known for disputing the committee’s conclusions but whose credibility is contested.

Reposting the article, Levin took to social media to criticize Cheney, suggesting she should testify under oath regarding various matters, including potential witness tampering and evidence destruction. Cheney swiftly responded, dismissing Levin’s claims as misinformation and urging him to review specific sections of the Jan. 6 committee report, transcripts from former Secretary of Defense Miller, and a judicial ruling discrediting Patel.

Unfazed, Levin fired back, mistakenly assuming Cheney’s criticism was aimed directly at him rather than The Federalist’s author. Cheney clarified her remark, subtly correcting Levin’s misunderstanding while maintaining her stance against the allegations.

Cheney’s involvement in the Jan. 6 committee and her decision to vote for the impeachment of Trump have made her a target for conservative backlash. Despite facing criticism and personal attacks, Cheney has remained steadfast in her position and has continued to defend her actions and the integrity of the committee’s work.
