VIDEO: Democrats Now Using New Anti-Trump Symbol

This is just cringy.

In a recent campaign event in Wisconsin, Gwen Walz, Minnesota’s First Lady and wife of Governor Tim Walz, stirred both applause and controversy with her remarks targeting former President Donald Trump. Walz, speaking alongside Vice President Kamala Harris, used dramatic gestures and rhetoric to signal a desire to “turn the page” on Trump’s presidency.

Walz, addressing the crowd, referenced Harris’ recent debate performance, where the Vice President emphasized the need for a new direction in American politics. “You probably saw that debate the other night,” Walz began. “Kamala Harris told us it’s time to turn the page, to move forward towards something new and exciting.”

With a theatrical flair, Walz mimicked the act of turning a page in a book, encouraging the audience to join her in this symbolic gesture. She suggested that the Democratic Party’s mission was to move on from Trump’s leadership, exclaiming, “We have 52 days to turn the page on Trump’s run for the White House. It’s time for a fresh start. Bye bye, Donald Trump.”

However, Walz’s performance did not go unnoticed by critics, who accused her of embodying what some call “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Critics were quick to label the speech as cringeworthy, even comparing it unfavorably to past controversial political moments.

Gwen Walz, a former educator who has served as Minnesota’s First Lady since 2019, has been no stranger to controversy. Earlier this election cycle, she faced criticism for comments made about the 2020 Minnesota riots. In an interview, she described her experiences during the riots, including her heightened sense of fear and anxiety, which some found peculiar and unsettling. These comments drew sharp criticism from conservatives, who questioned the appropriateness of her reflections on such a tumultuous event.
