Democrats hate anyone who opposes them.
The Democrats are preparing to fight back against Republican Representative Lauren Boebert once again, following their close defeat during one of the most astonishing upsets in the previous midterm elections.
According to The Hill, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has identified Boebert’s district as one of 31 targets for the upcoming elections, which indicates that they consider her to be vulnerable. This decision has been made despite the fact that the district had voted overwhelmingly in favor of former President Trump in the previous two presidential elections.
Democrats view Boebert’s close association with Trump’s MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement and her high-profile media stunts as a significant opportunity to challenge and oppose her.
Democrat Adam Frisch who almost defeated her in the past said, “One of our most effective comments that we talked about in the district was she’s not focused on the job, she’s focused on herself. I can’t believe she had almost the most embarrassing loss in 20 years and she hasn’t changed one iota. She’s actually doubled down on crazy.”
Frisch, a former city council member in Pitkin County and businessman, will persistently emphasize that notion leading up to the upcoming general election.
Boebert’s confrontational approach has led to several controversies during her brief tenure in Congress. She has been accused of making Islamophobic remarks about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and has strongly supported former President Trump’s allegations of election fraud in the 2020 elections. As a result, Democrats had attempted to remove her from House committees.
Republicans know Boebert is a big problem for the Democrats and they will do whatever it takes to get her out of Congress. Hopefully voters in her district do not fall victim to their lies and know that Boebert is working in their best interests.
