This entire Democratic impeachment push against President Trump has been disaster since the very beginning.
Now, once again, the tables have turned. This time it could be in President Trump’s favor!
According to the Washington Examiner, a handful of moderate Democrats have actually flipped on President Trump’s impeachment. Rather than impeaching the president, around 10 or so Democrats are now calling to instead censure Trump.
Rep. Kurt Schrader called the decision “a less divisive option” and stated, “I think it’s certainly appropriate and might be a little more bipartisan, who knows, time’s slipping by.”
Schrader along with New Jersey Rep. Josh Gottheimer, New York Rep. Anthony Brindisi, and Utah Rep. Ben McAdams, and other unnamed Democratic members have dropped impeachment efforts. One stating, “Right now, there’s no other options. This is another option.”
However, even though this sounds like good news, DON’T be fooled. These Democrats still hate President Trump and the Republican party. They aren’t doing this out of the kindness of their hearts.
They are doing this because reelection is coming up soon and their seats are currently HOTLY contested. If they vote to impeach Trump they know Americans will make them pay for it in the voting booths!
