DOJ Fires Back At Biden

Biden made a huge mistake.

President Biden sparked intense controversy after he pushed the envelope and boldly claimed that if anyone in former President Donald Trump’s administration or anyone who associated with Trump refuses to obey the Jan 6 Committee and does not comply with a congressional subpoena will be prosecuted.

Now, President Biden’s Press Secretary Jen Psaki and the Department of Justice (DOJ) is doing damage control and the DOJ has taken a firm stand against Biden’s tyrannical comments.

According to Fox News, when asked by a reporter about what he will do if people don’t comply with Jan. 6 select commission issuing subpoenas of Trump administration officials, Biden said, “I hope the committee goes after them and holds accountable.”

Biden was then asked “Should they be prosecuted?

I do, yes,” Biden replied.

DOJ spokesman Anthony Coley stood firm against Biden and said, “The Department of Justice will make its own independent decisions in all prosecutions based solely on the facts and the law. Period. Full stop.”

Jen Psaki tried to soften Biden’s tyrannical comments and explained, “[Biden] has said many times, January 6th was one of the darkest days in our democracy.  He supports the work of the committee and the independent role of the Department of Justice to make any decisions about prosecutions.”
