Does America need a new leader?
In a move that should have been taken by President Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron stepped up and did Biden’s job by calling Russia’s Vladimir Putin and urged him to end his war in Ukraine.
Macron warned the media however, that even after his very tense 90-minute phone call with Putin, he believes that the “worst is yet to come” and Putin has no intentions of backing down.
According to Fox, Macron apparently said to Putin what Biden is too scared to say and told him, “Your country will pay dearly because it will end up as an isolated country, weakened and under sanctions for a very long time.”
Macron said that Putin told him he intends to “fulfill his objective.”
“Attempts to gain time by dragging negotiations will only lead to additional requirements for Kyiv in our negotiating position,” Putin told Macron.
The world is watching as President Biden sits idle and refuses to stop Putin from committing any further aggressions. America needs a leader right now and Biden definitely isn’t the right man for the job.
I spoke to President Putin this morning. He refuses to stop his attacks on Ukraine at this point. It is vital to maintain dialogue to avoid human tragedy. I will continue my efforts and contacts. We must avoid the worst.
