Fox News Puts McConnell On Blast

About time!

Fox’s Tucker Carlson fired back at Democrats such as Chuck Schumer and even Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell after they attacked him for releasing footage of the January 6th Capitol riot which was never before seen by the American people.

As you may already know, McConnell said that it was a mistake for Tucker Carlson to show the American people what’s really going on and the riot was much “more violent” than what Fox News decided to display.

According to The Hill, Fox’s Tucker Carlson hit back at McConnell and said, “They’re all on the same side. So it’s actually not about left and right. It’s not about Republicans and Democrats. Here, you have people with shared interests….The people who, underneath it all, have everything in common are all aligned against everyone else,” Carlson explained.

During a press conference on Tuesday, McConnell expressed his agreement with the views of Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger on the events of Jan. 6. Manger had criticized Carlson’s Monday night show for presenting “offensive and misleading conclusions” about the attack.

Carlson also fired back at Democrat Chuck Schumer who was enraged with him for showing the American people footage that they did not want to be shown. Carlson stated, “You don’t often see the Senate Majority Leader openly call for censorship on the floor of the Senate, as if that was totally normal and didn’t contradict the spirit and the letter of the First Amendment. But, of course, it does. But what’s really happening, or what you’re seeing, is hysteria — the overstatement, the crazed hyperbole, the red-in-the face anger. What is that? Outrage? Of course, it’s fear. It’s panic.”

It’s important to remember that Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was the reason Fox News was provided the footage from the riot. Democrats and Republican traitors such as Mitch McConnell and Senator Mitt Romney are very upset with McCarthy over his decision.
